Virden Parks Initiative is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization working with local businesses, city officials, and community members to raise funding, engage community, and drive improvement opportunities at our local parks!

If you would like to become part of this initiative please join us at a meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of each even numbered month at 7:00 PM.
The meetings are held at: First Baptist Church - Pitman Hall 157 W. Jackson Virden, IL
With your help, we can reach our goal and fulfill our mission: To Enhance, Engage, and Enable the community to foster healthy lives, opportunities for play of all ages, and brighten the lives of Virden area citizens.
In order to reach the first of our 2023 goals, we need to raise a minimum of $12,000.
After a master plan is finalized, the new goal will likely be near $300,000 or more.
